A pitch deck is a short company presentation that provides all the relevant information in a clear and structured fashion. The ideal length is 10-15 slides.
Your pitch deck should cover the following aspects and answer the following questions:
1. The Business Concept:
Explain it to us. Does your start-up solve a certain problem? Which customer benefits does your product have?
2. The Team:
Tell us about the masterminds behind your start-up.
3. The Current Status:
What is the current status of the company (the company stage)? Which milestones have you reached (including financial ones) and which ones will come next?
4. The USPs:
What are the unique selling propositions of your start-up? Explain your business model to us. How does your start-up generate revenues?
5. The Market (Competition):
Define the relevant market and show us your target group. Talk about your competitors – how will you position your start-up within the market?
6. KPIs:
Provide us with your most important KPIs. Have you generated any revenues so far? Have there been any first customers/pre-orders/visitors? Do you have any relevant partners? Do you hold any patents of your own? Is there anything else we should know?
