homefort Presents New Partner

Dear Companists,

Even though roughly two weeks have passed since our last update, we have not been idle, but have worked hard to make homefort succeed. We want to use this update to update you on the current stage of development of our company.

homefort Attracts Renowned Partner

During our equity-based crowdfunding campaign, we have been receiving many exciting partnership inquiries and are pleased to announce our new partner passt24.

passt24 is the leading ROPO (research online, purchase offline) insurance portal in Germany. On this website, consumers can search for insurance products and rates and get free quotes from insurance brokers and agents near them. This local search is designed in a simple and user-friendly way. passt24 collaborates with over 800 insurance experts throughout Germany. Users receive personalized suggestions for suitable insurance policies until 6 p.m. on the following business day. Moreover, they are not pressured to buy insurance at any time. Indeed, users remain anonymous until they contact the insurance company of their choice themselves.

This consumer-friendly concept has also convinced the Handelsblatt publishing group, so this largest business media group in Germany became a shareholder of passt24 in 2014.

We are certain that this partnership will be successful and exciting. Simultaneously, we are continuing talks about pending partnerships. Needless to say, we will keep you posted on this.

Connected Services Innovation Workshop – SAP and Connected Living

SAP has chosen homefort as a participant for its start-up pitch. On 15 September 2016, we will go to Potsdam to participate in the Connected Services innovation workshop at SAP Innovation Center.

The market leader in business software, SAP helps companies of all sizes and from all industries grow their business. The Connected Living innovation center has more than 50 members and is the largest open-innovation platform for the development of partnerships for connected living and smart homes. As start-ups and organizations from various industries participate in Connected Living, this innovation center enables a holistic perspective on connected living and will make this workshop a very unique event. The workshop is meant to connect young start-ups and established companies, to search for innovative solutions, and to discuss concrete collaboration strategies.

Moreover, we would be really grateful if you supported us on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. This way, we can always keep you up to date.

Best regards from Saarland,

Investments in startups and growth companies offer great opportunities, but they are risk investments. In the worst case, the entire investment amount may be lost. Consequently, investments in startups or growth companies are unsuitable for retirement plans. However, there is no obligation to make further contributions. Investors can minimize their risk by diversifying the amount they invest in startups and growth companies and not investing the entire amount in one startup or growth company. Professional investors often follow this strategy because it causes the risk to be distributed among several investments. In this way, successful investments can balance other less successful investments.

The shares of the investors on Companisto are subordinated profit-participating loans (partiarische Nachrangdarlehen). Such loans are shares in a business with similar characteristics as equity. If the company becomes insolvent or is liquidated, the claims of the investors (Companists) – just like those of all other shareholders of the company – will be satisfied from the assets in the insolvency or the assets in liquidation only after the claims of all other external creditors have been satisfied. Thus, Companists are treated like any other shareholder of the company during insolvency or liquidation proceedings.

The company information published on the Companisto website is provided solely by the companies. The projections made by the companies do not guarantee successful development of the company in the future. Consequently, investments in startups and growth companies are suitable only for those investors who can cope with the risk of a total loss of the capital invested. Investors make their own independent investment decisions and bear all risks themselves.

The investments are provided and issued by the individual companies. Companisto is neither the provider nor the issuer of the investments, but solely the internet service platform.
