Hanover, 19th of January 2017. The startup Energieheld from Hanover announces a new financing round: Old and new business angels are investing a six-figure sum into the young company.

Energieheld is a platform that helps homeowners to save money by higher energy efficiency. The company advises customers and connects them with professional craftsmen.

The startup collected 226.790 Euros via Companisto in 2016. 555 Companists were supporting them and their innovative idea of digitalizing the sector of crafting professionals. Energieheld has a high-profile in the German media.

A lot has happened since the financing round on Companisto: With Hamburg, Dortmund and Herford Energieheld opened three new headquarters in Germany. They are managed by three new employees: Pierre Wirth, Christian Westphalen and Thomas Hauschopp. All of them are experienced in crafting and managing. With them the Energieheld-team now grows to 23 people, working on the digitalization of their sector.

Furthermore, the founders also developed a software, helping craftsmen and craftswomen to manage their every-day-work. With “hero” the craftspeople can organize projects and customers and also create offers and bills.

The feedback received until now is pretty positive: Many companies are already using the software as a service to organize their whole client base. There are also some waiting in the pipeline.

Energieheld wants to further develop the software with the follow-up money. The acquisition of new customers is also one of the main objects in 2017. “We really want to digitalize the sector of handcrafting. That means, companies need efficient and digital tools to find new orders, to communicate internally and externally, to manage employees and building sites, to coordinate meetings, orders and purchases. We want to build and provide all that to the craftspeople”, says CEO Michael Kessler. “We are still partners of the traditional crafting – not competitors.

With the fresh investment Energieheld also wants to expand the business to Austria and Switzerland in 2017.

Congratulations to the team and good luck in 2017!
