ambico extends campaign

Dear Companists,

The first 60 days of our equity-based crowdfunding campaign are behind us and we’re pleased to announce that more than 500 participants have invested in ambico!

Campaign extended by more than 60 days

As many Companists are surely aware of, Companisto used to offer equity-based crowdfunding campaigns with durations of 60 days (this also included a chance at extending the campaign by 60 days). We were among the few start-ups on Companisto to start off with a 30-day campaign, which was later extended by an additional 30 days.  Recently, Companisto reverted to its old model and once again offers new start-ups the possibility to collect capital over a period of 120 days.

After consulting Companisto, we’ve decided to adjust our campaign’s duration to that of the status quo’s by extending it by an additional 60 days. This means that, like other equity-based crowdfunding campaigns, the campaign will run for a total of 120 days. This will enable us to reach our funding goal of € 300,000 and allow us to completely implement our expansion plans. And with this news, we’d like to thank Companisto for the excellent support they’ve offered us.

The next milestones

In the course of the extended campaign, we’re going to reach a few important milestones that will significantly affect our development. We’ll be adding new online shops, additional products and product areas, and will also enter new markets. We were able to implement the first expansion measures with our equity-based crowd investors; these are expected to impact our sales figures and operational figures during the course of the year.

All in all, we can now say that it was absolutely the right decision for us to implement an equity-based crowdfunding campaign. The excellent feedback provided by the Companists as well as the additional public attention we were able to gain have both been important components to our development.

Kind regards,

Klaus Attenberger

Note

Investments in crowdfunding projects offer great opportunities, but they are risk investments. In the worst case, the entire investment amount may be lost. Consequently, these investments are unsuitable for retirement plans. However, there is no obligation to make further contributions. Investors can minimize their risk by splitting their investment amount between crowdfunding campaigns rather than investing all of it in one crowdfunding campaign. Professional investors often follow this strategy because it causes the risk to be distributed among several investments. In this way, successful investments can balance other less successful investments.

The shares of the Companists are subordinated profit-participating loans (partiarische Nachrangdarlehen). Such loans are shares in a business with similar characteristics as equity. If the company becomes insolvent or is liquidated, the claims of the Companists – just like those of all other shareholders of the company – will be satisfied from the assets in the insolvency or the assets in liquidation only after the claims of all other external creditors have been satisfied. Thus, Companists are treated like any other shareholder of the company during insolvency or liquidation proceedings.

The company information published on the Companisto website is provided solely by the companies. The projections made by the companies do not guarantee successful development of the company in the future. Consequently, crowdfunding investments are suitable only for those investors who can cope with the risk of a total loss of the capital invested. Investors make their own independent investment decisions and bear all risks themselves.

The investments are provided and issued by the individual companies. Companisto is neither the provider nor the issuer of the investments, but solely the internet service platform.
