Cringle becomes a Member in the renowned Banking Association

Dear Companists,

As you know, it has been our objective to develop the simplest possible way to send money by Mobile Phone to any Mobile Phone number.

For us it has always been clear that this is only possible to achieve in partnership with the established banks. Together create payment solutions for customers, solutions that combine trust and innovation. As one of the pioneers of this way of operating, we started in 2014 with the Deutsche Kreditbank AG as the first partner.

We always stood by this mindset and have now reinforced it even more. We can proudly announce that Cringle, from the beginning of this week, officially is a member of the Bundesverband deutscher Banken e.V. (German Federal Association of Banks). This exclusive circle, in which so far the Banks alone made the history of the whole trade, has now been expanded by a selection of FinTechs.

More than 200 Banks + 11 Fintechs

Why do we want to cooperate with the Banks?

The user feels at home there. The user believes that his or her money is safe with the Banks. Unfortunately many Banks have the problem that they adapt slowly, reactively or not at all to the changing customer habits. The “Digital Natives”, customers who have grown up with the new technologies, have meanwhile become the most important group of customers for the Banks. The product portfolio of the Banks, however, hardly meets their wishes and needs.

With Cringle, we offer an innovatory payment solution which gains ever more popularity. But this is not all; even beyond Cringle, we cooperate with our Partners, in order to find new and smart solutions for the topic Mobile Payment.

However, the cooperation between Cringle and the Banks does not just happen on a product level, but reaches further and into many areas.

As one of the 11 extraordinary Fintech Members, we are now part of the Project Committee Digital Banking and are looking forward to cooperate with the representatives of the more than 200 Banks.

Look into the Future together

There are many topics that relate to both the established Banks and young Fintechs. These things can of course have a positive impact, but they may also mean deep cuts into the so far existing products, product processes and business models.

“In order to further expand the cross-cutting topic digitalization, with the Project Committee Digital Banking the Association of Banks now has a high-value body at the level of the Chief Digital Officers of the Banks, together with leading personalities of the German FinTech community. In exchange, the Association can now count on 11 FinTech companies as extraordinary members”, so the official Press Release.

The Executive Director of the Banking Association, Dr. Michael Kemmer, emphasized with respect to this: “Both for Banks and for FinTechs, digital offers are a central topic of the future. The growth potential is enormous.”

For those of you who want to know more about this new and strong cooperation, this is a choice of related publications:

We are looking forward to our future cooperation!

Kind Regards,

Your Cringle Team

Investments in startups and growth companies offer great opportunities, but they are risk investments. In the worst case, the entire investment amount may be lost. Consequently, investments in startups or growth companies are unsuitable for retirement plans. However, there is no obligation to make further contributions. Investors can minimize their risk by diversifying the amount they invest in startups and growth companies and not investing the entire amount in one startup or growth company. Professional investors often follow this strategy because it causes the risk to be distributed among several investments. In this way, successful investments can balance other less successful investments.

The shares of the investors on Companisto are subordinated profit-participating loans (partiarische Nachrangdarlehen). Such loans are shares in a business with similar characteristics as equity. If the company becomes insolvent or is liquidated, the claims of the investors (Companists) – just like those of all other shareholders of the company – will be satisfied from the assets in the insolvency or the assets in liquidation only after the claims of all other external creditors have been satisfied. Thus, Companists are treated like any other shareholder of the company during insolvency or liquidation proceedings.

The company information published on the Companisto website is provided solely by the companies. The projections made by the companies do not guarantee successful development of the company in the future. Consequently, investments in startups and growth companies are suitable only for those investors who can cope with the risk of a total loss of the capital invested. Investors make their own independent investment decisions and bear all risks themselves.

The investments are provided and issued by the individual companies. Companisto is neither the provider nor the issuer of the investments, but solely the internet service platform.
