Medipee registers for another patent

Dear Companists,

We are pleased to have welcomed several new Companists since our last update! Thank you for your support. This update will inform you of our current standing.

We submitted another patent application on December 12, 2017.

Intensive work with the technical challenges of such a new product results in many good ideas and possibilities that were not obvious at first glance. As far as we know right now, we are the first to use a plug n' play system with a connected consumable in this field, which provides many opportunities to generate IP (Intellectual Property).

The recent application concerns a new sensor component that generates a dimension of measured values that adds to the previous evaluation via color spaces. The values obtained in this way will be used to determine additional parameters for the analysis as well as for better control of the instrument.

The patent rights we have applied for will allow us to secure new variations and advanced developments of Medipee’s technology in the future while simultaneously protecting us against competitors who are trying to enter the market with a similar system.

However, we can only report the details of the new application when they are published by the patent office. We are now entering the international phase of our first patent application (PCT/EP2016/068553). In other words, we determine in which countries protection is particularly relevant to us. These are mainly Europe, the USA and selected Asian countries.

We have recently also received much attention by the press.

The magazine Gründerszene published an article about us on 11 December 2017, as did the online magazine

Finally, we would like to remind you of the opportunity of meeting us in person. On 15 December, we will be in the pop up store at Klosterstraße 6 in Moers. We will be open to answer all questions over a glass of mulled wine in the festive atmosphere of the Christmas market.

Kind regards,
Thomas & Paul

Investments in startups and growth companies offer great opportunities, but they are risk investments. In the worst case, the entire investment amount may be lost. Consequently, investments in startups or growth companies are unsuitable for retirement plans. However, there is no obligation to make further contributions. Investors can minimize their risk by diversifying the amount they invest in startups and growth companies and not investing the entire amount in one startup or growth company. Professional investors often follow this strategy because it causes the risk to be distributed among several investments. In this way, successful investments can balance other less successful investments.

The shares of the investors on Companisto are subordinated profit-participating loans (partiarische Nachrangdarlehen). Such loans are shares in a business with similar characteristics as equity. If the company becomes insolvent or is liquidated, the claims of the investors (Companists) – just like those of all other shareholders of the company – will be satisfied from the assets in the insolvency or the assets in liquidation only after the claims of all other external creditors have been satisfied. Thus, Companists are treated like any other shareholder of the company during insolvency or liquidation proceedings.

The company information published on the Companisto website is provided solely by the companies. The projections made by the companies do not guarantee successful development of the company in the future. Consequently, investments in startups and growth companies are suitable only for those investors who can cope with the risk of a total loss of the capital invested. Investors make their own independent investment decisions and bear all risks themselves.

The investments are provided and issued by the individual companies. Companisto is neither the provider nor the issuer of the investments, but solely the internet service platform.
