MOWEA Rotor Blade: Efficient and High-Tech Material

Public
Public

Dear Companists,

First, we would like to thank all Companists for their great feedback and support!

The first pair of rotor blades is finished. High-tech and made of carbon fibers: light, stable and precise in shape.

MOWEA's rotor blades are an important component of the modular wind energy system: This is where the energy conversion process begins. They are also exposed to all weather conditions and high wind speeds during operation.

MOWEA - Rotor blade

1. MOWEA High-Tech

MOWEA's rotor blades consist of complicated three-dimensional geometries. The blade changes width over the radius, it is twisted and has so-called winglets at the end of the rotor blade to increase efficiency and minimize noise.

The accurate shape is very important in the manufacturing process. The aerodynamic profile, which MOWEA developed specifically for use in the new rotor blades, must be manufactured as accurately as possible to guarantee the best efficiency.

The carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) lamination process guarantees MOWEA's high standards of accuracy, strength and reproducibility. The new blades are light, stable and ready for initial tests and upcoming pilot applications.

2. Ready for Initial Pilot Tests

MOWEA will test the blades in the next step. We are currently setting up a test field on the roof of our office complex for this purpose.

MOWEA will be able to measure, store and evaluate the prevailing wind speed and turbine performance. The plug and play capability with a photovoltaic module and the connection to an inverter is also being tested.

The new electronics and casing will be ready to be used by private pilot customers and on telecommunications masts in approx. 4-6 weeks.

Best greetings,

Till Naumann

Note

Investments in crowdfunding projects offer great opportunities, but they are risk investments. In the worst case, the entire investment amount may be lost. Consequently, these investments are unsuitable for retirement plans. However, there is no obligation to make further contributions. Investors can minimize their risk by splitting their investment amount between crowdfunding campaigns rather than investing all of it in one crowdfunding campaign. Professional investors often follow this strategy because it causes the risk to be distributed among several investments. In this way, successful investments can balance other less successful investments.

The shares of the Companists are subordinated profit-participating loans (partiarische Nachrangdarlehen). Such loans are shares in a business with similar characteristics as equity. If the company becomes insolvent or is liquidated, the claims of the Companists – just like those of all other shareholders of the company – will be satisfied from the assets in the insolvency or the assets in liquidation only after the claims of all other external creditors have been satisfied. Thus, Companists are treated like any other shareholder of the company during insolvency or liquidation proceedings.

The company information published on the Companisto website is provided solely by the companies. The projections made by the companies do not guarantee successful development of the company in the future. Consequently, crowdfunding investments are suitable only for those investors who can cope with the risk of a total loss of the capital invested. Investors make their own independent investment decisions and bear all risks themselves.

The investments are provided and issued by the individual companies. Companisto is neither the provider nor the issuer of the investments, but solely the internet service platform.
