Experiences with Caterna: What the parents say

Public
Public

Dear Companists,

What do we like most about working at Caterna? The (daily) success stories. Again and again parents contact us and tell us about their experiences with the Caterna vision training. We have already examined the side of the practices and practitioners in another update, so today we let both parents and employees have their say.

We have asked our customer service staff to tell their most beautiful success stories - completely anonymous of course. Vera has been head of practice and customer care at Caterna since 2017. During this time she has learned a lot about the concerns of the parents of children with amblyopia - but at least as many success stories of Caterna. Just the other day, she reports, she had another call from a mother who was incredibly happy about the great success her child had with Caterna. At the same time, however, she has to admit that it is a hard piece of work to motivate the child every day. Nevertheless: Since she did not believe in such a success at the beginning, she is now all the more pleased and would like to inform herself about follow-up therapy possibilities.

Many parents would actually do several therapies in a row because they were so successful with the first therapy, Gloria says. Gloria has been working as a practice and customer consultant since 2018. In the last few months, she has been particularly enthusiastic about her parents' stamina. A few weeks ago she had a case in which her parents were so persistent that several sceptical medical practices finally wanted to accompany the therapy. For Gloria these are besides satisfied parents after a Caterna therapy always very nice success stories.

And this is what the parents say about Caterna

Many parents, from whom we receive feedback, are also satisfied with the success of the therapy. One parent anonymously reports that after two unsuccessful years of occlusion therapy, the child's visual acuity has increased to at least 40% within three months.

Caterna - parent feedback

In fact, many parents report that after a stagnant occlusion therapy, often over years, the Caterna therapy has led to a rapid improvement. So does Mrs. Affeld, whose six-year-old son has been occluding for almost three years.

A particularly impressive case is that of Katrin and Michael Probst.

Of course, there are also more critical voices. For example, a mother from Austria tells us that her daughter didn't get along so well with the games. Nevertheless, there was an improvement in vision and she would recommend Caterna to others.

Many greetings

Michael Scherrer

Note

Investments in crowdfunding projects offer great opportunities, but they are risk investments. In the worst case, the entire investment amount may be lost. Consequently, these investments are unsuitable for retirement plans. However, there is no obligation to make further contributions. Investors can minimize their risk by splitting their investment amount between crowdfunding campaigns rather than investing all of it in one crowdfunding campaign. Professional investors often follow this strategy because it causes the risk to be distributed among several investments. In this way, successful investments can balance other less successful investments.

The shares of the Companists are subordinated profit-participating loans (partiarische Nachrangdarlehen). Such loans are shares in a business with similar characteristics as equity. If the company becomes insolvent or is liquidated, the claims of the Companists – just like those of all other shareholders of the company – will be satisfied from the assets in the insolvency or the assets in liquidation only after the claims of all other external creditors have been satisfied. Thus, Companists are treated like any other shareholder of the company during insolvency or liquidation proceedings.
