Caterna attracts more health insurance companies

Public

Dear Companists,

in the final spurt once again super news: Two more health insurance companies cover the costs for the Caterna Therapy!

The new health insurance companies

Since this month the R + V Betriebskrankenkasse covers the costs for the Caterna Therapy and the medical attendance for its members. The R + V Betriebskrankenkasse is a statutory health insurance fund which was founded in 1992 and opened to the public in 2002.

On 01.01.2019, the BKK Melitta Plus will also assume the costs for the Caterna visual training. We are very happy about this further growth!

This increases the patient potential for Caterna by a further 1,070 small patients aged 4 - 12 years.

Good news also on other fronts

The marketing test campaigns on Google Adwords and Facebook continue to run very well, with Facebook we were even able to reduce the cost per conversion once again. As announced, we are also working on transferring these campaigns to the Polish market in order to see whether the direct approach in a self-pay market behaves differently.

Anyone who follows the news more closely will certainly also have noticed that our Minister of Health, Jens Spahn, wants to open up the possibility of a "digital prescription" in the future, which can also be prescribed during an online consultation - a good sign for the further expansion of telemedicine! We continue to work on making such a model possible for our Caterna customers as soon as possible.

And last but not least: We would also like to use this update to thank all the companists who have supported us over the past months and will continue to support us in the coming days! Together we will continue to support our vision of a simple, digital and effective therapy for all children with amblyopia. We are looking forward to it!

Best regards

Your Jana Frömke

Note

Investments in crowdfunding projects offer great opportunities, but they are risk investments. In the worst case, the entire investment amount may be lost. Consequently, these investments are unsuitable for retirement plans. However, there is no obligation to make further contributions. Investors can minimize their risk by splitting their investment amount between crowdfunding campaigns rather than investing all of it in one crowdfunding campaign. Professional investors often follow this strategy because it causes the risk to be distributed among several investments. In this way, successful investments can balance other less successful investments.

The shares of the Companists are subordinated profit-participating loans (partiarische Nachrangdarlehen). Such loans are shares in a business with similar characteristics as equity. If the company becomes insolvent or is liquidated, the claims of the Companists – just like those of all other shareholders of the company – will be satisfied from the assets in the insolvency or the assets in liquidation only after the claims of all other external creditors have been satisfied. Thus, Companists are treated like any other shareholder of the company during insolvency or liquidation proceedings.

The company information published on the Companisto website is provided solely by the companies. The projections made by the companies do not guarantee successful development of the company in the future. Consequently, crowdfunding investments are suitable only for those investors who can cope with the risk of a total loss of the capital invested. Investors make their own independent investment decisions and bear all risks themselves.

The investments are provided and issued by the individual companies. Companisto is neither the provider nor the issuer of the investments, but solely the internet service platform.
