Final Campaign Stage and MyParfum Was Nominated for Innovation Award

Dear Companists,

By means of this final update before the end of our financing campaign, we would like to thank you very much. But before we do so, we have some great news for you! :-)

MyParfum Nominated for Innovation Award

Germany is a country of intellectual pioneers, engineers, and inventors. The telephone, the streetcar, the computer, and even the toothpaste were invented in Germany. We are glad to be part of this tradition with our innovative concept of individual perfume. Having received the EO Global Innovation Award in the U.S., we have now also been nominated for the Querdenker Innovationspreis (Lateral Thinker Award) in Germany. The award ceremony in the BMW Welt in Munich on 25 November will be attended by famous German entrepreneurs Wolfgang Joop, Prof. Dr. Claus Hipp, Dr. Heinz-Horst Deichmann, and Dirk Rossmann among others.

MyParfum at the K5 Conference

K5 is a conference attended by the 500 most important German online retailers. This conference on 18/19 September has the motto of "E-Commerce for a Smarter World" and will serve as a forum for retailers to discuss subjects related to strategy and growth in a rapidly changing market environment. We feel honored that MyParfum founder Matti Niebelschütz has been invited to serve as a speaker on the beauty panel. Based on the motto "New Approaches for the Online Cosmetics Market," he will discuss the future of the industry with Charles von Abercron (founder and managing director of Glossybox) and other experts. As always, ExcitingCommerce will provide detailed coverage of the event.

German Newspapers BZ and BILD Report on MyParfum

"No matter if you want to use it yourself or as a gift, you may create your own fragrance based on your individual demands on MyParfum" – in a detailed article, BZ has recently reported on MyParfum. The reason for this is the start-up night, which we will attend. BILD Zeitung has also noticed that individual products are a real trend and has mentioned us in an article on mass customization.

MyParfum Says THANKS

Toward the end of our campaign, we would like to thank all Companists, friends, partners, and supporters very much. It seems as if it were yesterday that we spent long nights in our sleeping bags in the office, folded invitation cards together, and were really tense shortly before the start of our funding campaign. Whereas our funding campaign is going to end in a few days, our journey with MyParfum has only just begun. Because of your support, we are now better prepared than ever before and are looking forward to a successful future together with you!

At this point, many companies would publish a self-made thank-you video or a funny making-of collage. We, on the other hand, have decided to share a video with you that has repeatedly provided us with inspiration and energy over the last few months. The Apple "Think Different" spot (1997):

This said, let's hope for a successful future together!

Investments in startups and growth companies offer great opportunities, but they are risk investments. In the worst case, the entire investment amount may be lost. Consequently, investments in startups or growth companies are unsuitable for retirement plans. However, there is no obligation to make further contributions. Investors can minimize their risk by diversifying the amount they invest in startups and growth companies and not investing the entire amount in one startup or growth company. Professional investors often follow this strategy because it causes the risk to be distributed among several investments. In this way, successful investments can balance other less successful investments.

The shares of the investors on Companisto are subordinated profit-participating loans (partiarische Nachrangdarlehen). Such loans are shares in a business with similar characteristics as equity. If the company becomes insolvent or is liquidated, the claims of the investors (Companists) – just like those of all other shareholders of the company – will be satisfied from the assets in the insolvency or the assets in liquidation only after the claims of all other external creditors have been satisfied. Thus, Companists are treated like any other shareholder of the company during insolvency or liquidation proceedings.

The company information published on the Companisto website is provided solely by the companies. The projections made by the companies do not guarantee successful development of the company in the future. Consequently, investments in startups and growth companies are suitable only for those investors who can cope with the risk of a total loss of the capital invested. Investors make their own independent investment decisions and bear all risks themselves.

The investments are provided and issued by the individual companies. Companisto is neither the provider nor the issuer of the investments, but solely the internet service platform.
