Fotovio Acquires International Hotel Chain as New Customer for Gift Cards

Dear Companists,

I hope you all had a great summer. We spent ours improving our business model in order to open up a new source of monetization.

Fotovio Receives Order from Major Hotel Chain

Today, we are proud to tell you that our business model of gift cards using the fotovio technology keeps developing very positively. Just in time for Christmas season, international hotel chain Best Western is going to start selling gift cards with fotovio QR codes. This Best Western Travel Card, which can be used around the globe, can be purchased online or in many Best Western hotels all over Germany. Via the fotovio app, people may then add their personal video message to the gift card. The Best Western Travel Card may be used for payment in all hotels of the chain, and the video may be used internationally as well. This year, customers can choose between two different QR code motifs. We are not yet allowed to tell you which motifs are going to be available, so you will have to wait for their publication!

Best Western operates 200 hotels in Germany and Luxembourg alone, and the chain's annual revenue in Germany amounts to EUR 687.4m (read more on this here).

In July, we had already told you about our second major customer in the gift card segment, which is going to add the QR codes to 280,000 gift card boxes: the German movie theater chain Cineplex (read more here).

This improved situation, which is due to our successes in the area of sales, enables us to approach additional potential customers over the next few weeks. For instance, I am going to meet many important contacts at the Gift Card Summit in Wiesbaden (Germany) toward the end of this month.

Fotovio at the Innovation Fair of the European Business School

Trade fairs have proven to be a very important channel of customer acquisition for us. Thus, fotovio is going to participate in the Innovation Fair of the EBS Symposium in Oestrich-Winkel (Germany) at the end of this week. At this annual conference, which was created 24 years ago, start-ups present their creative products to visitors.

If you are anywhere near there, we will be glad to meet you!

Best regards,

Christian Doberschütz

NOTE:

Investments in crowdfunding projects offer great opportunities, but they are risk investments. In the worst case, the entire investment amount may be lost. Consequently, these investments are unsuitable for retirement plans. However, there is no obligation to make further contributions. Investors can minimize their risk by splitting their investment amount between crowdfunding campaigns rather than investing all of it in one crowdfunding campaign. Professional investors often follow this strategy because it causes the risk to be distributed among several investments. In this way, successful investments can balance other less successful investments.

The shares of the Companists are subordinated profit-participating loans (partiarische Nachrangdarlehen). Such loans are shares in a business with similar characteristics as equity. If the company becomes insolvent or is liquidated, the claims of the Companists – just like those of all other shareholders of the company – will be satisfied from the assets in the insolvency or the assets in liquidation only after the claims of all other external creditors have been satisfied. Thus, Companists are treated like any other shareholder of the company during insolvency or liquidation proceedings.

The company information published on the Companisto website is provided solely by the companies. The projections made by the companies do not guarantee successful development of the company in the future. Consequently, crowdfunding investments are suitable only for those investors who can cope with the risk of a total loss of the capital invested. Investors make their own independent investment decisions and bear all risks themselves.

The investments are provided and issued by the individual companies. Companisto is neither the provider nor the issuer of the investments, but solely the internet service platform.
