Dear Companists,

We are full of anticipation because we may now officially tell you that we made it on the German TV show "Die Höhle der Löwen" (Dragon's Den) and had the chance to convince customers and investors in front of an audience of millions of people.

You Will Soon Be Able to See How the Jury Reacted to the Foodist Pitch

Foodist Introduces Itself to Roughly 2 Million Viewers

On the German TV show "Die Höhle der Löwen," company founders get the chance to pitch their business concept to experienced investors and roughly 2 million viewers. The goal is to convince these five investors of the business idea so that one or more of them make an offer to invest.

The jury consists of Turkey tourism pioneer Vural Öger, the most successful entrepreneur in European home shopping, Judith Williams, the charismatic pioneer in adventure gifts, Jochen Schweizer, start-up visionary Frank Thelen, and the spokeswoman of the next generation of entrepreneurs, Lencke Wischhusen.

Trailer of the VOX TV Show "Die Höhle der Löwen"

The show is broadcast on German TV station VOX at 8:15 p.m. every Tuesday. On 14 October, we are going to appear on "Die Höhle der Löwen." Those of you who have missed the previous episodes of the show or will not be able to watch it on Tuesday may also watch it at http://www.voxnow.de/die-hoehle-der-loewen/. Switch your TV to VOX on 14 October and see how we did on the show!

We Are Prepared

As the experience of other start-ups on the show – for instance "Meine Spielzeugkiste" – has shown us, the number of users simultaneously accessing the company website during the show may be as high as 28,000. We have thus increased the capacity of our servers significantly to ensure that our website will be running smoothly.

On our homepage, we will focus on the following aspects:

  1. On the day of the broadcast, there is going to be a voucher code for the first month of a Foodist box subscription. By means of this "introductory price," we want to convert as many website visitors as possible into Foodist box subscribers. Moreover, there is going to be a voucher code for the Foodist box as a gift.
  2. We will also provide a downloadable PDF containing our Christmas offers to B2B customers. We are convinced that many companies are not yet familiar with Foodist and will consider our products an extraordinary gift idea for Christmas. Finally, users are going to be able to preorder our Foodist Advent calendar from 14 October onward.
  3. We will also make the newsletter box more visible and attractive to collect as many email addresses for our newsletter as possible.

We are looking forward to your reactions to our TV appearance and will of course keep you posted on the feedback we get.

Best regards,

The Foodist team

Note

Investments in crowdfunding projects offer great opportunities, but they are risk investments. In the worst case, the entire investment amount may be lost. Consequently, these investments are unsuitable for retirement plans. However, there is no obligation to make further contributions. Investors can minimize their risk by splitting their investment amount between crowdfunding campaigns rather than investing all of it in one crowdfunding campaign. Professional investors often follow this strategy because it causes the risk to be distributed among several investments. In this way, successful investments can balance other less successful investments.

The shares of the Companists are subordinated profit-participating loans (partiarische Nachrangdarlehen). Such loans are shares in a business with similar characteristics as equity. If the company becomes insolvent or is liquidated, the claims of the Companists – just like those of all other shareholders of the company – will be satisfied from the assets in the insolvency or the assets in liquidation only after the claims of all other external creditors have been satisfied. Thus, Companists are treated like any other shareholder of the company during insolvency or liquidation proceedings.

The company information published on the Companisto website is provided solely by the companies. The projections made by the companies do not guarantee successful development of the company in the future. Consequently, crowdfunding investments are suitable only for those investors who can cope with the risk of a total loss of the capital invested. Investors make their own independent investment decisions and bear all risks themselves.

The investments are provided and issued by the individual companies. Companisto is neither the provider nor the issuer of the investments, but solely the internet service platform.
