Dear Companists,

After a few weeks in "soft launch", we can now announce the official release of the Knicket Android app. The app is available in German, English and French in the Google Play Store. We hope you will download the app and look forward to you Store reviews and your general feedback!

All users of the iPhone 4s and newer models can look forward to a redesign of the mobile page.

In this respect, we would like to inform you that we will currently be concentrating on an extensive redesign of the desktop front end instead of language extensions. A French translation of the Knicket website did not yield the desired traffic which is why we invested (and will keep investing) more time and energy in SEO (search engine optimization) in order to increase our reach in the existing languages. In this context, we also decided to conduct a technical revision of our desktop website.

We are also using this opportunity to develop both design and UX (user experience). Furthermore, we have decided to give one of the development stages priority: We will shortly be enabling the user or the app developer to add more information to each app. This means that we are taking - earlier than expected - a big step towards "Google /Wikipedia for apps" and will provide users with more app information than anywhere else.

In addition, we are working on filter potentials that have already been implemented in the Android app: Unfortunately, the price slider had to make way for an improved tagging system. Development, however, is still in progress. What's more, the user can adjust minimum rating settings in the new UI for an improved image of common search behavior.

We also want to impress Google and improve our SEO by enhancing data. We have written articles on the categories with the most traffic which will be included in the next website update. Finally, we will improve the URL structure and increase the speed of the site. That's about it from us and our measures. We look forward to your feedback!

Thank you so much for your support in 2014. We hope you have a successful, healthy and happy new year!

Best regards,
the Knicket team.

Note

Investments in crowdfunding projects offer great opportunities, but they are risk investments. In the worst case, the entire investment amount may be lost. Consequently, these investments are unsuitable for retirement plans. However, there is no obligation to make further contributions. Investors can minimize their risk by splitting their investment amount between crowdfunding campaigns rather than investing all of it in one crowdfunding campaign. Professional investors often follow this strategy because it causes the risk to be distributed among several investments. In this way, successful investments can balance other less successful investments.

The shares of the Companists are subordinated profit-participating loans (partiarische Nachrangdarlehen). Such loans are shares in a business with similar characteristics as equity. If the company becomes insolvent or is liquidated, the claims of the Companists – just like those of all other shareholders of the company – will be satisfied from the assets in the insolvency or the assets in liquidation only after the claims of all other external creditors have been satisfied. Thus, Companists are treated like any other shareholder of the company during insolvency or liquidation proceedings.

The company information published on the Companisto website is provided solely by the companies. The projections made by the companies do not guarantee successful development of the company in the future. Consequently, crowdfunding investments are suitable only for those investors who can cope with the risk of a total loss of the capital invested. Investors make their own independent investment decisions and bear all risks themselves.

The investments are provided and issued by the individual companies. Companisto is neither the provider nor the issuer of the investments, but solely the internet service platform.
