EN3 and Market Leader in Biogas Plants Reach Agreement on Dozens of Potential Systems

Public

Dear Companists,

Having received a multi-million investment recently, we are very pleased to inform you today that we have reached another milestone and have come to an agreement with one of the largest German biogas plant operators on the installation of a pilot system.

Installation of a Pilot System

In addition to the usual contractual terms, the agreement authorizes EN3 to use the system for the purpose of representation and customer acquisition for a 5-year period. The total investment necessary for the pilot system is in the upper five-digit range.

Once we have received all official permits, we intend to put the system into operation in May/June of 2015. We have already ordered all components necessary for the system's assembly.

Additional Order for 40 Systems Possible

However, this may only be the beginning of a great development because our contractual partner intends to equip another 40 identical plants with our system if the installation of the pilot system is satisfactory. In other words, this would be the start of serial production.

The production of such completely identical systems would be a quantum leap for EN3's development as a company, particularly in regard to production costs. Indeed, the cost of planning would have to be paid only once, whereas the advantages concerning procurement and production costs of identical components would lead to a significant decrease in the cost per system for everyone involved.

German Renewable Energies Act Forces Plant Operators to Optimize Systems

Biogas plants are also perfectly suitable for demonstration purposes as a large number of plant operators are forced to further optimize their plants because of the new German Renewable Energies Act (EEG). This is certainly an advantage to us.

We are glad that we will soon have the opportunity to demonstrate our expertise and to present our innovative systems for carbon-free power generation from unused residual heat and waste heat to a large audience.

At this point, we would also like to thank all Companists for the many nice wishes and feedback after the investment we received from the European venture capital fund!

Best regards,

The EN3 team

NOTE:

Investments in crowdfunding projects offer great opportunities, but they are risk investments. In the worst case, the entire investment amount may be lost. Consequently, these investments are unsuitable for retirement plans. However, there is no obligation to make further contributions. Investors can minimize their risk by splitting their investment amount between crowdfunding campaigns rather than investing all of it in one crowdfunding campaign. Professional investors often follow this strategy because it causes the risk to be distributed among several investments. In this way, successful investments can balance other less successful investments.

The shares of the Companists are subordinated profit-participating loans (partiarische Nachrangdarlehen). Such loans are shares in a business with similar characteristics as equity. If the company becomes insolvent or is liquidated, the claims of the Companists – just like those of all other shareholders of the company – will be satisfied from the assets in the insolvency or the assets in liquidation only after the claims of all other external creditors have been satisfied. Thus, Companists are treated like any other shareholder of the company during insolvency or liquidation proceedings.
