Europe's Most Successful Crowdfunding Will Be Back!

Dear readers,
dear Companists,
I am very pleased to tell you that the first (preliminary) key figures for WEISSENHAUS for the entire business year of 2014 are now available to us:
  • Even though we are a little behind schedule, the operating company's revenue in 2014 increased by 213 % compared to the previous year. The lodging department even increased its revenue by 334 % compared to the previous year. In all categories, expenses did not increase as much as revenue.
  • If we also consider the various awards we received, for instance the most recent 1st place in the European hotel ranking of GEO Saison, we believe that we are very well prepared for the future.

Funding Campaign Relaunched for One Last Time

In the context of these developments, of the considerable investments during the final days of our campaign, and of the numerous requests concerning additional investments that we have been receiving after the end of our crowdfunding campaign, we have decided to relaunch our campaign for a limited time from 29 January 2015 onward. The terms of the investment will remain unchanged.

Updated Pitch for the Relaunch

As many things have changed over the last few months (for an overview, see here) and as we also want to add the actual figures for 2014, we still need some time to update our pitch. Consequently, we plan to relaunch our campaign on Thursday, 29 January, for definitely the last time in order to enable Companists to increase their investment and to enable new investors to make their first investment.
Moreover, there will be some additional rewards.

3 Crowd Reporters Wanted – Experience WEISSENHAUS Yourself

Any plans for the weekend after next? From all Companists who have already invested in WEISSENHAUS or will do so until 30 January, we will draw three winners of an overnight stay (from 7 through 8 February 2015) at WEISSENHAUS, including a personal tour by the management, dinner, lunch, a visit to the SPA, and travel expenses of up to 250 euros (winners are required to plan their trip to WEISSENHAUS themselves).

Participation Requirements

All Companists who invested in WEISSENHAUS and agree that we videotape and publish their impressions and statements are eligible to participate.
All you have to do is post the sentence "I would like to experience WEISSENHAUS myself" as a comment below this update or send an email to investor-relations@weissenhaus.net. On Friday, 30 January 2015, we will draw the winners and contact them.
We are looking forward to meeting you, so stay tuned!
Best regards from WEISSENHAUS

Investments in startups and growth companies offer great opportunities, but they are risk investments. In the worst case, the entire investment amount may be lost. Consequently, investments in startups or growth companies are unsuitable for retirement plans. However, there is no obligation to make further contributions. Investors can minimize their risk by diversifying the amount they invest in startups and growth companies and not investing the entire amount in one startup or growth company. Professional investors often follow this strategy because it causes the risk to be distributed among several investments. In this way, successful investments can balance other less successful investments.

The shares of the investors on Companisto are subordinated profit-participating loans (partiarische Nachrangdarlehen). Such loans are shares in a business with similar characteristics as equity. If the company becomes insolvent or is liquidated, the claims of the investors (Companists) – just like those of all other shareholders of the company – will be satisfied from the assets in the insolvency or the assets in liquidation only after the claims of all other external creditors have been satisfied. Thus, Companists are treated like any other shareholder of the company during insolvency or liquidation proceedings.

The company information published on the Companisto website is provided solely by the companies. The projections made by the companies do not guarantee successful development of the company in the future. Consequently, investments in startups and growth companies are suitable only for those investors who can cope with the risk of a total loss of the capital invested. Investors make their own independent investment decisions and bear all risks themselves.

The investments are provided and issued by the individual companies. Companisto is neither the provider nor the issuer of the investments, but solely the internet service platform.
