EBS Creates Website Specifically for Patients

Public

Dear Companists,

Since the launch of our equity crowdfunding campaign, many things have happened because the investments we received from many Companists enabled us to implement some first projects (for instance the patient registry we have already told you about).

These projects include a website made specifically for patients – a landing page – among other things. Perhaps many of you are now wondering why we had another website created in addition to our normal company website.

Today, an increasing number of patients want to be able to make their own decisions about therapy methods. Such decisions are no longer based solely on communication between patients and doctors. However, many patients lack the knowledge necessary to properly assess more complex medical texts. Consequently, it is particularly important that information be provided in a comprehensible, yet reliable high-quality fashion. This information also has to be made available where patients can find it, which can be done most effectively on the Internet today.

Patients may access our landing page at www.ebs-therapie.de

Through this landing page, we want to directly address patients with visible impairments due to neurological reasons and these patients' families. The page has been designed in a way that enables users to easily access information on visual field loss and the related therapy options. Moreover, the page's design enables users to directly contact us or therapy centers.

Thus, we will raise awareness of the EBS therapy method and increase the number of patients willing to undergo this treatment.

We will also start focusing on our other projects very soon. The most important of these projects is the creation of our patient registry, which will enable us to have therapy results analyzed statistically by independent experts.

As these projects are essential to the further development of EBS Technologies, we would like to thank you very much for your excellent support!

Best regards,

The EBS Technologies Team

NOTE:

Investments in crowdfunding projects offer great opportunities, but they are risk investments. In the worst case, the entire investment amount may be lost. Consequently, these investments are unsuitable for retirement plans. However, there is no obligation to make further contributions. Investors can minimize their risk by splitting their investment amount between crowdfunding campaigns rather than investing all of it in one crowdfunding campaign. Professional investors often follow this strategy because it causes the risk to be distributed among several investments. In this way, successful investments can balance other less successful investments.

The shares of the Companists are subordinated profit-participating loans (partiarische Nachrangdarlehen). Such loans are shares in a business with similar characteristics as equity. If the company becomes insolvent or is liquidated, the claims of the Companists – just like those of all other shareholders of the company – will be satisfied from the assets in the insolvency or the assets in liquidation only after the claims of all other external creditors have been satisfied. Thus, Companists are treated like any other shareholder of the company during insolvency or liquidation proceedings.

The company information published on the Companisto website is provided solely by the companies. The projections made by the companies do not guarantee successful development of the company in the future. Consequently, crowdfunding investments are suitable only for those investors who can cope with the risk of a total loss of the capital invested. Investors make their own independent investment decisions and bear all risks themselves.

The investments are provided and issued by the individual companies. Companisto is neither the provider nor the issuer of the investments, but solely the internet service platform.
