Angel Investors of the Years 2013 and 2014 Make Significant Investment in EBS Technologies

Dear Companists,

We are very pleased to announce that right before the end of our crowdfunding campaign, both the German angel investor of the year 2013, Dr. Christian Schultz, and the German angel investor of the year 2014, Rainer Christine, have decided to make a significant investment during the current financing round of EBS Technologies. Please understand that we may not publish the exact amount invested because of contractual obligations. Still, we can tell you that the investment will enable EBS Technologies to progress.

Thus, another two renowned and experienced professional investors have invested in EBS.

Financing Round Based on Same Valuation as Companisto Campaign

This new financing round was based on the same valuation as the Companisto campaign. In other words, it proves that the valuation on Companisto is realistic.

Portrait of the "Angel Investor of the Year"

Companists already know Dr. Christian Schultz because he is also the founder and managing director of EN3, another Companisto start-up. The angel investor of the year 2013, he focuses on clean technology, medical technology, and IT and said the following about his investment:

"Having carefully examined the EBS Next Wave Technology, Rainer Christine and I have come to the conclusion that this is currently the best therapy method for treating glaucoma that is due to previous neurological damage. In fact, we consider it a milestone in glaucoma therapy, which will alleviate the suffering of many patients that could not be treated before. Also, we believe this therapy method has great, untapped market potential in the area of medical technology and is thus very promising."

Each year, the Business Angel Netzwerk Deuscthland [German Angel Investor Network] awards the "Goldene Nase" [golden nose] to the angel investor of the year, thus trying to motivate experienced entrepreneurs to provide rapidly growing start-ups with capital and expertise. The angel investor of the year is chosen by a high-quality jury of experts from the informal investment capital market.

Final Phase of the Campaign

Dear Companists, the EBS Technologies crowdfunding campaign will end in a few days, but you may still invest. We are very grateful for your investments and support and are looking forward to a future together with you!

High-Tech Gründerfonds [high-tech start-up fund] and early-stage investor Earlybird have already invested in EBS Technologies.

Best regards,
The EBS team

NOTE:

Investments in crowdfunding projects offer great opportunities, but they are risk investments. In the worst case, the entire investment amount may be lost. Consequently, these investments are unsuitable for retirement plans. However, there is no obligation to make further contributions. Investors can minimize their risk by splitting their investment amount between crowdfunding campaigns rather than investing all of it in one crowdfunding campaign. Professional investors often follow this strategy because it causes the risk to be distributed among several investments. In this way, successful investments can balance other less successful investments.

The shares of the Companists are subordinated profit-participating loans (partiarische Nachrangdarlehen). Such loans are shares in a business with similar characteristics as equity. If the company becomes insolvent or is liquidated, the claims of the Companists – just like those of all other shareholders of the company – will be satisfied from the assets in the insolvency or the assets in liquidation only after the claims of all other external creditors have been satisfied. Thus, Companists are treated like any other shareholder of the company during insolvency or liquidation proceedings.

The company information published on the Companisto website is provided solely by the companies. The projections made by the companies do not guarantee successful development of the company in the future. Consequently, crowdfunding investments are suitable only for those investors who can cope with the risk of a total loss of the capital invested. Investors make their own independent investment decisions and bear all risks themselves.

The investments are provided and issued by the individual companies. Companisto is neither the provider nor the issuer of the investments, but solely the internet service platform.
