Dirk Steeger, geboren in Berlin, ist eine führende Persönlichkeit im deutschen Automobilhandel. Nach einer umfassenden schulischen und beruflichen Ausbildung im Bankwesen, einschließlich einer Ausbildung zum Bankkaufmann und verschiedener Positionen im Kredit- und Vertriebssektor, wechselte er 2002 in die Automobilbranche. Seit 2002 ist Dirk Steeger geschäftsführender Gesellschafter der Autohaus Gotthard König GmbH. In dieser Funktion ist er verantwortlich für die strategische Planung des Unternehmenswachstums sowie für die Geschäftsführung in den Bereichen Vertrieb und Marketing. Seit 2007 ist er zudem Geschäftsführer der König Leasing GmbH. Unter seiner strategischen Führung hat sich die Autohaus Gotthard König Gruppe schnell zu einer der größten Automobilhandelsgruppen Deutschlands entwickelt. Heute umfasst das Unternehmen 91 Standorte, erzielt einen Jahresumsatz von 800 Millionen Euro und beschäftigt 1286 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter. Seine Karriere zeichnet sich durch herausragende Führungsqualitäten, strategisch-visionäres Denken und Handeln sowie durch exzellente Vertriebs- und Organisationskompetenzen aus.
