MeineSpielzeugkiste launches round of co-financing on Companisto

Dear Companists,

Since our last round of equity-based crowdfunding in 2014, MeineSpielzeugkiste has continued its development and is the market leader for toy sharing. For months now, the market for sharing has been in a state of turmoil: OTTO and Media Markt entered the rental business at the end of 2016. This makes sharing and trading everyday objects an increasingly more common alternative to individual purchases.

This year, it's our goal to conquer the mass market and to this end we completed the largest round of financing in our company's history last week. The Munich-based VC firm, "BonVenture" and our existing shareholders have decided, after weeks of intense auditing, to invest € 1.7M into the growth of the company. BonVenture alone will be supplying us with almost € 900,000 in fresh venture capital, while our existing shareholders are putting in € 850,000.

MeineSpielzeugkiste launches co-financing.

We've come far through the support of the 1,238 Companists, which invested € 450,000 over the course of the first financing rounds in 2013 and 2014. We thank you for this and would like to once again give the Companists the chance to invest in Meine-Spielzeugkiste. In the course of the co-financing round, all Companists will be able to invest under the same conditions of our venture capitalists and existing shareholders.

Our equity-based crowdfunding campaign is set to start on Tuesday, 11 July at 12:00 p.m. on Companisto, and we're hoping to collect up to € 1M. Given that we've been able to secure a sum of € 1.15M and the company has just been through an intensive audit, we think this is a perfect time for us to start another campaign.

We look forward to writing additional success stories together with you and we're available 24/7 to answers your questions until the campaign launch!

Investments in crowdfunding projects offer great opportunities, but they are risk investments. In the worst case, the entire investment amount may be lost. Consequently, these investments are unsuitable for retirement plans. However, there is no obligation to make further contributions. Investors can minimize their risk by splitting their investment amount between crowdfunding campaigns rather than investing all of it in one crowdfunding campaign. Professional investors often follow this strategy because it causes the risk to be distributed among several investments. In this way, successful investments can balance other less successful investments.

The shares of the Companists are subordinated profit-participating loans (partiarische Nachrangdarlehen). Such loans are shares in a business with similar characteristics as equity. If the company becomes insolvent or is liquidated, the claims of the Companists – just like those of all other shareholders of the company – will be satisfied from the assets in the insolvency or the assets in liquidation only after the claims of all other external creditors have been satisfied. Thus, Companists are treated like any other shareholder of the company during insolvency or liquidation proceedings.

The company information published on the Companisto website is provided solely by the companies. The projections made by the companies do not guarantee successful development of the company in the future. Consequently, crowdfunding investments are suitable only for those investors who can cope with the risk of a total loss of the capital invested. Investors make their own independent investment decisions and bear all risks themselves.

The investments are provided and issued by the individual companies. Companisto is neither the provider nor the issuer of the investments, but solely the internet service platform.
