About the event

Due to the expansion of renewable energy, the growth of AI data centres, the electrification of transport and increasing digitalisation, electricity demand is reaching new record levels. The challenge here is often not the amount of energy available, but the short-term provision of high power at the right place at the right time. The necessary expansion of electricity grids often cannot keep pace with this development, as it requires significant investment and frequently takes many years to complete.

This challenge has been driving Dr Hendrik Schaede-Bodenschatz for years. As co-founder and managing director of Adaptive Balancing Power, he develops and markets a world-leading high-performance energy storage technology. Together with Nicolai Meder, co-founder and CTO, and Axel Klemm, Head of Business Development, he will be speaking in the expert panel discussion about the technology’s potential applications and the role it can play in the energy supply of the future.

What to expect

  • Insights into a key bottleneck in the energy transition

  • Potential applications for decentralised high-performance storage systems

  • The next steps in growth and scaling
