About the event

If you play sports yourself, you’re probably familiar with this: organizing practices via WhatsApp groups, using Excel spreadsheets for member management, or dealing with complicated booking systems at your club. Although many industries have long since gone digital, numerous processes in amateur and club sports are still handled the old-fashioned way.

Yet this issue affects almost every one of us personally. Whether it’s a gym, tennis club, soccer club, or yoga studio—anyone who plays sports is part of the amateur and club sports scene and often experiences firsthand just how much organizational potential remains untapped.

This is exactly where Kurabu comes in.

The Companisto portfolio company, which has already completed two successful funding rounds through Companisto, is developing a platform that intelligently brings together club management, payments, bookings, and ticketing in one central location. The goal is to provide sports organizations with a modern digital infrastructure and to sustainably improve the sports experience for clubs, communities, and active athletes.
