How does participation in Virtonomy work?

Your participation in Virtonomy is structured as an equity investment. You become a shareholder in Virtonomy - similar to investing on the stock market, but in the pre-IPO phase. No subordinated loans, no reward-based crowdfunding campaigns, no pre-orders. In the event of success, you participate proportionally in the exit (company sale or IPO) or via dividend distributions. Example: Companisten who invested in BigRep participated in its listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on July 31, 2024 (ticker B1GR). The minimum investment in Virtonomy is €10,000 in the Business Angel Club (for direct investments in the form of shares or GmbH equity interests) or €250 for private investors via a pooling vehicle. What is the minimum investment in Virtonomy?

The minimum investment in Virtonomy is €10,000 in the Companisto Angel Club for a direct investment (limited liability company shares or stock) or €250 for private investors via a pooling vehicle. There is no maximum investment amount per investment.

When do I receive a return from Virtonomy?

A return from your Virtonomy investment arises at exit (trade sale or IPO) or through dividend distributions - as a shareholder you participate directly in the company’s value. The timing of an exit is not guaranteed; typical holding periods for startup investments range between 5 and 10 years.
